Zac Woodfin
Performance Specialist
Zac first came to Athletes' Performance in 2005 to prepare for the NFL Combine as a part of Athletes' Performance's Combine Preparation Program. In 2006, Zac returned to APLA in the NFL offseason to prepare for his second year in the NFL. He returned to Athletes' Performance again in 2007, this time as a coach, assisting in the NFL Combine Prep Program.
Zac earned his degree in Exercise Science while playing football at the University of Alabama, Birmingham (UAB). He was a four-year letterman and a member of UAB's first ever post-season bowl appearance in the 2004 Sheraton Hawaii Bowl. In 2005, Zac signed with the Green Bay Packers.
From there he went on to the Baltimore Ravens and then the following year played for the Frankfurt Galaxy in NFL Europe, where he helped lead them to the World Bowl. After beginning his coaching career at UAB, Zac pursued graduate work and coached at the University of Alabama in their strength and conditioning program, with a main focus in football.
Zac's vast experience in the NFL is valuable to the athletes he works with. His ability to relate to the athletes' situations and knowledge of exactly what they are going through or what they will go through leads to even greater success for each Athletes' Performance athlete.
