After flying, try these tips to help prevent jet lag. They'll kick start your brain and body so you can perform better in your travels.
1. Eat a High-Protein Meal
Eating a meal that is high in protein will help to stimulate your mind.
2. Hydrate
Sitting on the plane can dehydrate you, so drink plenty of water not only while you're in the air, but as soon as you touch down. Also, include an antioxidant complex if possible. If you don't have an antioxidant complex with you, down a glass of green tea.
3. Get Outside
When you arrive at your hotel, grab a water or Gatorade and go for a walk outside. This will help you to adjust your body clock.
4. Wash Your Hands
Wash your hands and be sure to not touch your face.
5. Self Massage
Try some self massage techniques to soothe stiff muscles. Pack a tennis ball in your carry-on bag and lie on the ball when you get to your hotel room. Roll over any sore spots. This might sound silly, but the pressure will relieve tension or knots in your muscles and help to increase blood flow.
