How to Stop Procrastinating

Todd Warnock / Thinkstock Photo
Want to lose weight? Get rid of pesky pains? Or have more energy? Stop putting off your goals. Here's how to make a change, and fast:
- Pick one habit that you keep avoiding.
- Write a list of the pros of doing the behavior (you'll feel better, more energy, etc.).
- Write a list of the cons of doing the behavior (you'll have to get up earlier, organize your time more efficiently, etc.).
Take a look at your life one procrastination at a time, and identify what's holding you back from making the changes that will ultimately help you reach your goals. Then start chipping away. While you're at it, take a look back at changes you've made in the past and consider what it took to make those changes and what an impact it's had on your life. You'll discover ways to set yourself up for success and boost your confidence in the process.
