Core Performance and Sheraton Set Guinness World Record with Innovative Workout

Core Performance founder Mark Verstegen leads record-setting workout.
Core Performance founder Mark Verstegen led a booming crowd through a record-setting workout yesterday outside the Sheraton Hotel in NYC, shutting down 7th Avenue in the process. The 30-minute workout set a new Guinness World Record for the world’s largest strength workout with resistance bands.
The effort brought together many Starwood associates, led by Hoyt Harper, SVP at Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, who has spearheaded the Sheraton Fitness powered by Core Performance initiative as well as the creation of FIT Meetings, an innovative new program that will premiere in select Sheraton properties this fall.
