Mia Kyricos Joins Core Performance as Vice President
Phoenix, AZ – Mia Kyricos, an experienced leader in the health and wellness field, has joined Core Performance as Vice President. Formerly the Director of Global Spa Brands for Starwood Hotels, Kyricos brings a wide range of operational expertise and global leadership to the Core Performance team, where she will oversee day-to-day operations of Core Performance’s leading corporate wellness solutions while working with the company’s senior leadership to support the company’s rapid expansion.
During her seven year tenure at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., Kyricos led the creation of six global spa brands for internationally renowned hotel brands including St. Regis, Sheraton, Westin, Le Méridien and W. During her tenure, Kyricos was also responsible for the development and operations of spas for Starwood's luxury and full-service hotels, and ran the internationally-recognized Starwood Spa Collection marketing program—representing 50+ premium hotel spas—from 2004 to 2009.
Kyricos has also worked with spa lifestyle companies such as Canyon Ranch and Exhale Enterprises, and has served in a variety of consulting and operational capacities for hotels, restaurants, spas and wellness companies. She also spent several years in marketing, public relations, and strategic planning.
