Odell Beckham Jr. Teams Up With EXOS Performance Nutrition

EXOS

EXOS, the leader in proactive health and performance solutions, today announced a partnership with Odell Beckham Jr. — the NFL’s 2014 Rookie of the Year — as a brand ambassador for EXOS’ line of high-quality nutritional supplements, EXOS Performance Nutrition.

Beckham’s relationship with EXOS began during his preparation for the 2014 NFL draft at EXOS’ headquarters in Phoenix. Beckham, who was drafted by the New York Giants with the 12th overall pick, connected with the EXOS performance dietitians and culinary staff, sparking an interest in learning more about proper nutrition that continued through his rookie season. The Giants’ Pro Bowl wide receiver returned to EXOS this past offseason for training, recovery, and nutrition support.

“I’m excited to be a part of an opportunity to educate others on performance nutrition so they can get an earlier start than I did with proper nutrition,” said Beckham. “I always shied away from trying any supplements because I didn’t know the results, but I trust EXOS and they’ve been critical in helping me take my nutrition to the next level.”

EXOS Performance Nutrition is a natural fit because of its many products that are NSF Certified for Sport, a designation recognized by the NFL, MLB, PGA, LPGA, and Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport. The NSF Certified for Sport program ensures that what is on the label is in the bottle, and that the products don't contain unsafe levels of contaminants and are free of more than 200 banned or prohibited substances.

“Odell has embraced our methodology of Mindset, Nutrition, Movement, and Recovery, and has shown particular interest in nutrition, displaying a willingness to learn more about how he needs to eat, drink, and supplement to fuel his performance both on and off the field,” said Amanda Carlson-Phillips, vice president of performance nutrition and research at EXOS. “He truly leads by example and is a great ambassador to help us educate others on a smarter approach to a confusing category.”

EXOS Performance Nutrition offers simplicity and clarity in a market saturated with confusing information through three easily decipherable product categories: Foundation, Boost, and Restore. The Foundation suite of products includes vitamins, minerals, fish oil, probiotics, and other nutrients that provide high-quality ingredients needed to achieve performance goals. The Boost products provide the necessary nutrients to fuel, sustain, and elevate performance. And finally, the Restore products, including Curcumin and the newly NSF-certified Aminos and Whey Protein Isolate, supply the building blocks needed to optimize the body’s ability to recover.

EXOS Performance Nutrition is designed in partnership with Thorne Research, a leader in developing and manufacturing pure, high-quality nutritional supplements, and is produced in a NSF International GMP (good manufacturing practices) registered facility. NSF International is an independent organization that verifies the facility has the proper methods, equipment, and controls in place for meeting quality standards.
