Health News: Berries Boost Brainpower

Women who frequently include berries in their diet are less likely to show loss of brain function, like memory or attention, as they age, according to a new report in the journal Annals of Neurology.

Researchers from Brigham and Women’s Hospital reviewed the eating habits of 16,0000 women who participated in the Nurses’ Health Study. They found that women who ate berries at least once a week slowed their brain decline for up to two and a half years.
