Let Your Game Motivate You

Don't worry if you lack the motivation to get serious about your health. You can still become the healthiest person you know.

Use golf, or any sport, as the motivating factor to improve your overall health, and your life.

In my experience, golfers, more so than athletes in any other sport, allow the game to permeate every aspect of their lives. Allow golf to be your motivator and you'll see results, on and off the course.

Think of it this way: If I tell you that it's necessary to train three to five times a week for 30 to 60 minutes a session, you may say you don't have time. But what if that same 30 minutes would decrease your handicap and improve your driving distance by 25 yards or more? Suddenly it sounds like a wise investment.

What do you want to improve about your game? Identify your greatest motivators and train to get better in those areas. You'll become healthier in the process, and you'll perform great.
