Q & A: Healing Cuts and Bruises

Q: My body seems to take a long time to heal from minor cuts and bruises. Is this naturally a part of aging, or can it be explained by a deficiency that I can supplement? It may also be relevant that I Performance Strength train four days/week. I am 34 years old. - Craig, Tempe, AZ

A: There are a lot of factors here. I recommend eating a variety of fruits and veggies daily, taking a multi-vitamin, and one to three grams of fish oil per day. If you continue to have any issues, speak with your physician.
