Music Recommendation for Runners

by edyourdon on flickr.com
I saw a runner today: Fit, decent mechanics. Then I noticed that her arm action on the right side completely changed. She was holding her iPod in her right hand, which added rotary forces through her right side, thus altering her gate.
So while holding your iPod may not seem like a big deal, it could result in a stride that's inefficient, if not ineffective. If you like running to a beat, just be sure to use the arm band with your mp3 player.
