In the News: Work Burnout Linked to Emotional Eating

Women who are burnt out at work are more likely to be emotional eaters and consume more where they're stressed, anxious, or depressed, even when they weren't hungry, according to a small study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

Finnish researchers surveyed 230 women and found that the 22 percent who reported work burnout were more likely to report uncontrolled or emotional eating. Click here for tips to avoid food traps when you're feeling burnt out at the office.
