The Health Dangers of Working the Graveyard Shift

Employees who work the graveyard and other non-9-to-5 shifts are more likely to suffer from a heart attack, according to a new report published in the British Medical Journal [HuffingtonPost.com].

In an analysis of 34 studies on more than two million people, Canadian researchers found that shift workers were 1.41 times more likely to suffer from a heart attack compared to people who worked standard 9-to-5 shifts.
