Balancing - Contralateral Alphabet - Soccer

Starting Position

  • Standing on one leg

Procedure

  • While balancing on one leg with knee slightly bent, write the alphabet in the air with the other leg while keeping the knee straight
  • Switch legs and repeat for prescribed number of repetitions

Coaching Keys

  • Do not allow any movement through your trunk during the exercise
  • Move leg from the hip, keeping the leg straight

  • Working both hips and challenging your balance
