Crunch - Cable

Starting Position
- Kneeling position, with glutes on your heels in front of a cable column, and holding a rope handle attached to a cable machine behind your head
Procedure
- Keeping your buttocks on your heels slowly let the cable pulley lift your torso away from the ground, extending your spine
- Return to the start position by contracting your abdominals
- Repeat for prescribed number of repetitions
Coaching Keys
- Do not let the hips move off the heels
- Exhale upon the crunching motion
- Inhale and extend your back as torso comes up
