Knee Hug - Supine

Starting Position

  • Lying face up on ground


  • Actively lift one knee to chest and then give gentle assistance by grabbing knee and pulling further to chest
  • Exhale, hold stretch for two seconds, and return to start position
  • Repeat for prescribed number of repetitions and switch legs

Coaching Keys

  • Keep your non-stretching leg flat on the ground by pushing the bottom of your heel away from your head

  • Stretching your glutes, hamstrings, and hip flexors
