Lunge Stretch Moving

Starting Position

  • Standing

Procedure

  • Step forward with right leg into lunge position.
  • Reach right arm to the sky and sidebend to the left, holding the stretch for 1-2 seconds.
  • Lower arm and step forward into next lunge with the left leg.
  • Raise left arm to the sky and sidebend to the right.
  • Repeat for the prescribed number of repetitions.

 

Procedure

  • Keep back glute contracted during stretch.
  • Maintain proper posture throughout movement.

You Should Feel It

  • Stretching the hip flexor of your back leg and the glute of the front leg
