Off Box Stabilization

Starting Position

  • Standing on a low box with feet just outside of shoulders and arms at your side


  • Step off box
  • Land with hips back and down, keeping knees behind toes and arms raised behind your torso as if ready to jump again

Coaching Keys

  • Anticipate the ground in order to land softly
  • Keep chest over knees and back flat during movement
  • Do not allow knees to collapse to the inside upon landing
