Overhead Press - Half Kneeling Dumbbell


  • With one knee on a soft pad or mat and the opposite foot flat on the ground in front of you, hold a pair of dumbbells at your shoulders.
  • Keeping your legs and torso stable, press the weights overhead.
  • Lower the weights back to the starting position.
  • Continue for the remainder of the set.

Coaching Tip

  • Keep your chest up and contract the glute of your back leg throughout the movement.
