Starting Position

  • Standing

Procedure

  • Lift your knee and foot with your opposite arm.
  • Your arms should stay bent throughout the movement.
  • Drive your foot down to the ground, generating a double foot contact as you raise your opposite foot and knee.
  • Continue alternating for the prescribed number of repetitions, while remaining in place.

Coaching Keys

  • Initiate the movement from your glutes and think about pushing your foot through the ground as you fully extend your hips.
  • Keep your toes pulled up to your shins.
  • Keep your torso still throughout the entire movement.
