Pop / Float Skip - Horizontal
Starting Position
- Skipping in place with arms bent at 90 degrees
Procedure
- In a skipping pattern, move forward, landing almost simultaneously on both legs
- Drive hard and fast off the lead leg for distance by extending through your hip, knee and ankle

- Maintain excellent posture with forward lean
- Maintain stability during movement and landing
- Anticipate the ground and drive hard and fast off the ground with your lead leg to minimize time on the ground
- Provide a forceful arm drive to assist with hip extension
