Starting Position

  • Standing in athletic base position

Procedure

  • Jump forward 2 inches over a line and back as fast as possible

Coaching Keys

  • Maintain athletic base position
  • Keep toes pulled up to shins
  • Feet should "pop" and NOT "scuff"

  • Working your hips, knees and ankles

Variation

  • At the end of the drill, sprint 10 yards
