Stepover Runs - 1 Leg - Shin
Starting Position
- Standing
Procedure
- Jog forward by sliding left heel up toward glute, stepping over at mid -shin height, and pulling foot down to ground underneath hip while right leg remains straight
- Continue for prescribed distance and switch legs
Coaching Keys
- Keep ankles pulled to shin
- Maintain perfect posture
- Working leg should trace a cyclical pattern
- Non-working leg should remain straight and not provide forward momentum
- Elbows should remain at 90 degrees and drive backward during running motion
