Stepover Runs - 1 Leg - Shin

Starting Position

  • Standing


  • Jog forward by sliding left heel up toward glute, stepping over at mid -shin height, and pulling foot down to ground underneath hip while right leg remains straight
  • Continue for prescribed distance and switch legs

Coaching Keys

  • Keep ankles pulled to shin
  • Maintain perfect posture
  • Working leg should trace a cyclical pattern
  • Non-working leg should remain straight and not provide forward momentum
  • Elbows should remain at 90 degrees and drive backward during running motion
