Trigger Point - Calf (Footballer)


  • Sit on the ground with your knees slightly bent, with one leg crossed over the other, and a Trigger Point Footballer on top of a block and under the calf of the bottom leg.
  • Bend your knees to roll your lower leg over the Footballer.
  • Spend more time rolling on any sore spots you find.
  • Next, bring your upper leg up so it crosses over at the knee.
  • Rotate the ankle of your lower leg in circles and up and down.
  • Complete the set on one side before repeating with the opposite leg. 

Coaching Keys

  • Place as much weight on the Footballer as you can tolerate.
  • The more uncomfortable it is, the more that muscle needs to be massaged.
