Trunk Rotation - Seated - Football

Starting Position

  • Seated on ground with legs straight

Procedure 

  • Cross right leg over left, bending the knee and placing the right foot on the ground to the outside of the left knee
  • Twist trunk to right placing the left elbow on the outside of the left knee
  • Exhale and hold 2 seconds, relax and repeat for prescribed number of repetitions

Coaching Keys

  • Keep chest up and back flat
  • Actively twist torso and use arm only to assist movement

  • Stretching in your trunk and hips
