Ingredients
- 1 lb beef round tip steaks, cut 1/4-in. thick
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, thinly wedged
- 3/4 cup prepared BBQ sauce
- 4 crusty rolls, split
Preparation
- In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add wedged onions, cook and stir for 3 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Remove from skillet and keep warm.
- In the same skillet, add 1 pound of beef and stir fry for one minute or until outside surface is no longer pink. Do no overcook.
- Stir in onion and barbecue sauce; heat through, stirring occasionally.
- Spoon equal amounts of beef mixture on bottom half of each roll and top with the other half.
