Ingredients
- 2 cups basil leaves
- 1/4 cup toasted walnuts
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 garlic clove, quartered
- 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
Preparation
- Place basil, toasted walnuts, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, water, and garlic in the a food processor.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pusle a few times, then process to the desired consistency.
- Place sauce over pasta and sprinkle with crushed walnuts or Parmesan cheese.
