Ingredients

  • 2 cups basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup toasted walnuts
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 garlic clove, quartered
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper

Preparation

  1. Place basil, toasted walnuts, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, water, and garlic in the a food processor.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Pusle a few times, then process to the desired consistency.
  4. Place sauce over pasta and sprinkle with crushed walnuts or Parmesan cheese.
