Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 1 tbs minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup red wine
  • 1/4 cup chopped scallions
  • 12 oz pork tenderloin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 whole wheat buns
  • 4 oz asian salsa

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Sweat 1 tablespoon of ginger and 1 tablespoon of garlic in 1 tablespoon of canola oil.
  3. Add 1/2 cup of Hoisin sauce, 1 tablespoon of chili sauce, 1/4 cup of chopped scallions, 1/4 cup of red wine, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  4. Coat pork tenderloin with 3/4 of the sauce. Set the other 1/4 aside for later.
  5. Combine the above ingredients into a baking dish, and roast until internal temperature reaches 145-150 degrees (about 20-30 minutes). Let sit for 5 minutes.
  6. Slice thinly. Coat the slice pork with the remainder of the sauce.
  7. Grill bun, add Asian Slaw, and top with pork mixture.
