Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups rice crispies
  • 9 oz natural peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • 1/8 lb butter, melted
  • 1/2 package dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 package milk chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. In  a large bowl, combine 1 pound of powdered sugar, 3 cups of rice crispies, 18 ounces of peanut butter (crunchy or creamy), and 1/4 pounds of melted butter.
  2. Once blended, make 70 small peanut butter balls, and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Put peanut butter balls into the freezer for 30 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan, melt 1 large package of dark chocolate chips and 1 large package of milk chocolate chips over low heat (don't overheat).  
  5. Dip the cooled peanut butter balls into the chocolate to coat one half.
  6. Place on waxed paper on a baking sheet.
  7. Once chocolate has set, store peanut butter balls in a sealed container.
