Ingredients

  • 4 tilapia filets
  • 2 tbsp drained green peppercorns, lightly crushed
  • 4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, seasoned with salt and pepper
  • 4 lemon wedges
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

  1. Heat saute pan over medium-high heat, add olive oil.
  2. Dredge tilapia in flour and shake off excess.
  3. Place fish in saute pan, and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Flip fish over, and cook another 2 minutes.
  5. Remove from pan and place on serving dishes.
  6. Add 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter to pan and swirl around.
  7. Before completely melted, add 2 tablespoons of peppercorn, 4 ounces of lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons of parsley.
  8. Remove from heat and stir.
  9. Season with salt and pepper if needed.
  10. Pour the sauce over the tilapia, and serve with lemon wedges.
