Ingredients
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 basil leaves, chiffonade
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- salt
- pepper
Preparation
- In medium saucepan over medium heat, add extra virgin olive oil and warm it up.
- Once hot, add tomatoes to the mixture. Let cook until tomatoes start giving out their moisture.
- Add minced garlic and let cook about 2-3 more minutes.
- Add basil chiffonade, stir, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss with pasta and add salt and pepper if necessary.
