Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 basil leaves, chiffonade
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation

  1. In medium saucepan over medium heat, add extra virgin olive oil and warm it up.
  2. Once hot, add tomatoes to the mixture. Let cook until tomatoes start giving out their moisture.
  3. Add minced garlic and let cook about 2-3 more minutes.
  4. Add basil chiffonade, stir, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Toss with pasta and add salt and pepper if necessary.
