Ingredients

  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 cups dates, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups oats
  • 2 cups Raisin Bran
  • 1/4 cup flaxseed, ground
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Spray 9x13 pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sunflower seeds, chopped dates, oats, Raisin Bran, and ground flaxseed. Set aside.
  3. In a microwaveable bowl, combine natural peanut butter, brown sugar, and honey. Microwave for 1 minute.
  4. Pour hot mixture over dry ingredients, and mix well.
  5. Place mixture in pan and press down firmly to make it flat.
  6. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  7. Cut into bars.
  8. Bars can be stored in refrigerator or freezer.
