Ingredients
- 1 lb green onions
- 3/4 lb ginger root
- 1/4 lb garlic
- 1 gallon soy sauce
- 1 1/2 cups sherry
- 4 oz canola oil
- 1 lb brown sugar
- 1 lb white sugar
Preparation
- Chop 1 pound of green onions, 3/4 pound of ginger root, and 1/4 pound of fresh garlic in a food processor.
- Place ingredients in a large pot, then add 1 gallon of soy sauce, 1 1/2 cups of sherry, 4 ounces of canola oil, 1 pound of brown sugar, and 1 pound of white sugar.
- Simmer for 2 hours.
- Strain and transfer to a container to cool.
- Marinade can be used three times before discarding.
